~PRAY FOR TEXAS PLEASE

These fires are within 18 to 25 miles of us now.

Many wildfires that are burning all over Texas are unfortunately making record breaking history here in the State....we live only 18 miles East of.... this fire ...that was still burning last evening.

It's like "HELL ON EARTH"...say's one fireman. ~ Not only are they dealing with all the fires, heat and exhaustion...but they can't go into many of the area's that had been burning..after sunset.. ......because of the hordes of RATTLESNAKES that are now moving around because of the fires too.
As a result....the fire crews have to wait until daylight to make sure they can SEE where they are working near the ground with their shovels, and equipment etc. the article said.
We had lunch on Tues. at an eatery..where our young waiter sadly told us his grandparents home, which he grew up in...was destroyed by the wildfires yesterday. GLADY his grandparents escaped unharmed.

My husband and I have started to pack our emergency "evacuation bags" in case we have to leave in a hurry also.

I will keep you posted .

Stefanie, and Pearl...thank you so much for your sweet concern.
It is suppose to be a bit coolor today and tonight in our immediate area...so we are hoping that will help the Fire crews too.

We watch every hour for updates.

Dear Rose, I pray several times a day for the people of Texas. It breaks my heart to watch the news.
God bless the firefighters, each and every person, the wildlife. God be with you both. Be careful.

Shelia...we are still seeing smoke in the sky just Northwest of us..but they tell us things are getting more under control.
We hope so. Can't smell the smoke now at least.
Thank you for your prayers...they are " Blessed Assurance".
Don't know how Texas can deal with this drought much longer.

DEAR HEAVENLY FATHER... WE NEED YOUR COOLING, QUENCHING RAINS ON THIS AREA OF THE COUNTRY PLEASE.

IN JESUS NAME.

Rose, as I was reading your note to me, I looked up at the television to hear that there is a mandatory evacuation in Wilkesbarre, PA, severe flooding. And Texas needs the water. God help us all. Thank you for your note back, Rose. Take care.
