~ OH TO HAVE THIS WICKER SEAT ~
You know there are some things you regret selling.. ? And a chair just like this one was one of them. WHAT was I thinking ? Sure like his little outfit too.
Oh Rose, I am sorry you got rid of the chair,,,yes,,what were you thinking! I know the feeling, over the years, I wish I had some of the things back I got rid of. It's a beauty, the boy is not too happy though. Wonderful photo! Love Marcie
When we moved from Indiana down here to Texas...I was afraid that some of my oldest and most precious wicker pieces would not survive the move...so I sold them ...just toopreserve it's condition for FUTURE generations.....but I do miss some of these lovelies. Especailly my 1885 Wicker Baby Carriage..with parisol. It was a beauty too. Just did not have room for it here in our new home. As is, the things I could NOT part with got "beat up"...in the move...they just did not give them the kind of EXPERT care they CLAIMED they would. Broken pieces that needed to be glued back on..and some missing pieces off the curly~que parts.
