~ MY HEART IS HEAVY~

Initially, I was not going to say anything about this to all of you.

But my heart is so very heavy. I just have to share it,
We just got back from the funeral for a BEAUTIFUL neighbor girl.
She was a second year, top notch college student....the only child of a
delightful, hard working, loving couple who live a few doors from us.
Sydney was her name....she had so much going for her.
But she took her own life.... last Friday while home on
spring break.
We neighbors were all so stunned, because
knowing this girl..and seeing her BIG smile...you would NEVER have guessed she would
have committed this desperate act.
But it was true..she did.
We all find this so hard to understand..as do her parents.
Please PRAY for this Mother and Father..they are beyond
heartbroken.
Thank you for listening.

Thank you for sharing this very sad news.

I can't imagine how her parents must feel. They must be completely bewildered as to why she did this.

Someone hung themselves from a tree recently in our local area, again the family don't know why, as far as they were concerned all was well.

My thoughts are with her parents and the whole of your neighbourhood as this extremely sad time.

Rose,
I am really sorry for that young girls family. The thing I hope they don't do is blame themselves. Its never anyone's fault when someone decides to commit suicide. And the signs are not always visible. and even it there were indications of depression or thoughts of harming herself, it all boils down to their personal decision. The family in no way could have stopped this, I hope they have a close circle of friends that surround them and provide the support they need.
I will keep that family in my prayers.

I am truly sorry to hear this...but sadly it's so true that sometimes people are hurting so badly inside and they put on a mask....

My thoughts are with all of you and her family too...

Another friend of mine had a granddaughter do the same thing last year. She was young and beautiful but fragile.

God help us all. Prayers for you and this young girl's family.

Love, Rebecca

Oh Rose my heart just aches for this family. How very sad that she thought she had no one to go to and that she had to wear a mask of happiness. So many people hurting and lonely - Lord help us to be Jesus to them.

We will be praying for this family

Rose,

I'm so sorry to hear this. I hear more and more of stories like this...where the person has not shown any visible signs of being in trouble emotionally...My heart goes out to her parents. I'm sure they are struggling with * signs they may have missed *....and Lord knows they could not have done anything to stop this...when someone really wants to die they just find a way....it's just tragic anyway you look at it.

I will be interested to know what her friends will have to say...if they knew something that no one else knew about??

Hugs to you,
Stephanie ♥

I am sooo sorry, our young people seem to have so much to shoulder these days. I can't imagine what the parents are going through, but you can believe they will be in my prayers. We need to keep all of our young people in our prayers.
You take care and I will send you a prayer too.
Hugs, Pat

I understand their pain...if you go to my post on January 14th you'll know why. This is something with no answers for anyone. Wrap your love around them and be there when they need to talk...
And hug yourself....
