Hello Rose,

An idea for the the shoe form would be to go to the thrift store and buy a pair ladies shoes with a heel that you like and would fit the form..would take a bit of engineering to take the heel off and attach to the form..I like it just as the form myself..I really like that pointy toe! And that lace collar is to die for!

Steph

PS: I never got an email from you and I don't know how to email you..

Rose...you lucky girl! I have been looking for one of those high heeled shoe lasts since I saw one all jeweled up and beautifully decorated :) Maybe you can email her and ask her what she used...If you don't know the blog let me know and I will look through my favorites..I just know that it is the new blog by the lady that has the blog called Dream In Cream...her new blog is gorgeous too! The lace collars and border trims are so beautifully detailed! Thank you for letting me know you had posted them :) Besos, Rose

Rose,
I love Steph's idea, another might be to find a small candlestick, sliver perhaps?
About my 'maniac'...I covered her in gesso first, then soaked the music for a long time a(2 hours) so it would mold easily. Then a lot of Mod Podge. I varnished her after because I wanted it shiny. Lisa

Queen, did you see my note on your site ?
You know I thought about that...about the heels..I can do that or I also like the ides that Lisa hsd with the candlestick.
I may even have something here at the house.
It has to be JUST the right height...so that the shoe lays level. I too love the pointed toes on it.

Rose, yes thanks for info... I am familar with Dream in Cream...she does LOVELY, LOVELY things there. I need to go and visit her site again. I am SURE I saved the picture of that shoe she did.... someplace !!! ( Sure do miss my mind)
The collar looks stained, for some reason, maybe the background I have it on...but it is not.

Lisa...I so appreciate your telling us how you did your 'maniac'....she is truly DARLING !
I just don't think I am willing to work that hard on one tho...but never know.
THANKS too for the idea about the candlestick for a heel on the shoe last...GREAT idea.
