~~VINTAGE CHILD'S SHOE ~

I have very few things that are RED

in my home...but this is one of them..a dusty little child's shoe that I have adored for years. ~~I noticed the way the sun was shining in on the brass buttons and picked up my ever handy camera ...and got it before the morning sun disappeared in that area of the living room. ~~

MY DH..painted this for me today..

I have Fibromyalgia...so I can't do the repeatitive types of things that I would like to do anymore....~~but my dear, sweet husband is able to help me out with projects. ~~ MY job now however ....is to find a place to put this indoors someplace.. ~~

Love fancy, filigree stuff. ~~ not old....I'm quite sure...but delightful all the same. ~~

It will hold some sweet vintage's. ~~ Rose

Custom Chair Covers

I had been collecting vintage
fabric for many years but had never
used it...until I found two parson's
chairs for my dining room and decided
to have slip covers made out of it for them.~~
They are so shabby chic and lovable
I can't stand it !~ The strip of brownish fabic in the back
matches some of the fabric that is on the seat of the chair.
I have put anique buttons on it too... hither and yon.

REALLY OLD BUTTONS

I know NOTHING about old buttons, however, this is part of my friend's collection... which she asked me to photograph.~ You may wish to tell your button collecting friends
about my blog....as I will be adding more buttons and cards as I go. ~ Rose

We had help today..

Some friends came over today..and helped my husband put up the Antique Spandrels...that we found last week. ~This one is in the opening over the fireplace. ~~ They can be seen from the family room, dining room and foyer.

This Spandrel is over the front door...I love these things.....can you tell ??
