Rose, Irene hit us last night here in Myrtle Beach! There was just some wind, a little rain. But it was not much at all! There was sunshine most of the day. My son in VA was getting it tonight!! But he is way inland, so I don't have to worry about him.
Susan...SO happy you are OK..and your son seems like he will be fine as well. I have been so fascinated with THIS storm..as we went thru Hurricane IKE down here a few years ago...and it was FIERCE !!!
I do so hope that people were not hit too badly... The world is changing so much, we've had the worst summer since a century!!! Nothing but rain, so things ARE changing. Just hope everyone is ok!

Ira...the weather is INDEED changing worldwide. Others are getting WAY too much rain..and we not anywhere near enough.
It was 107 here today too. Setting new records.
