That's what I love about Texas....the sky is so HUGE and beautiful....
Driving home from Round Top, Tx. last month...these are a couple of shots thru the windshield or side window.
NO matter what direction you point your camera...you see these.

You are right about the Texas sky. I really enjoyed my time in the Dallas/Ft Worth area...of course, it took some adjustment to the summer heat. I had just driven in from San Diego, California in August and it was 107 in Ft. Worth. It was a pleasant 70 when I left San Diego!
Some of the nicest people I've ever met are in Texas. ♥
I'm finally getting over some vile bug that I caught but I can report that we don't have snow on the ground right now! YAHOO!!!! LOL

Yes, the CONSTANTNESS of the heat is what we had to get use to here in Texas...having moved from Indiana.
9 + months out of the year it is either HOT or at least warm here. And MOST day's are SUNNY, which helps my underlying depression a lot.
And like today, it's going to be 70 degree's and SUNNY again....can't BEAT that for Jan. 28th ! Yesterday was an unbelievably BEAUTIFUL day here.
