On Friday...my daughter and I went to a large Antique Mall .... I picked up some lace, buttons, doilies and this darling little portrait...of this child in a plaid dress.. and along with that... I noticed next to her, was the lovely wicker corner seat ..that so many photographers had in those days.
These items all are just laid on my kitchen table..they are not attached, just trying to get a feel for making a collage. I don't have a clue after this.
Can anyone tell me what some of the BEST lessons I could take on putting together lacy, Victorian collages ? I see so many in the blogs over the past year...but don't know how to assemble one myself.

How exciting! I came home and found a message from you on my blog! I am so happy you found me and now I can visit you too. I have put a 'follower' gadget on my site so you can put your name in there.
Your blog is lovely. I really enjoy visiting blogs where many areas of interest are shared with others. This is a great way to find new ideas for our continued growth as collectors, artists, and bloggers. Come see me again!
Lovey, I so hope you are doing better, day by day. TAKE CARE of yourself. I will be sending you some information that might be of interest to you via email.
Susan, you are my dearest and most faithful blog follower..thank you again for stopping by...I love that you are such a loyal friend.
VBR...I am so VERY technically challenged I do not know now to add things to the side of my blog..my grandson does it for me..but he is SELDOM back home now that is he working full time... as he work up in College Station, Tx. I need to put a couple of permanent gadgets or whatever they are called on the side of my blog...and I have NO clue how to do that either.

When I saw how you collaged this on the table I thought you were jokeing? You do it just as you did, add a frame around the little girl and you got it honey. Now can I buy your collage because it's gorgeous!
I think you have a great eye for art,,,all you need is a frame and its done...or a pillow top, I say you got it! I always love to see the beauty you share Rose.

Thank you so very much everyone....what I really want to do is SEW them all together, or glue them or whatever others do that make them look so thick and lovely...and/or make a book or wall hanging out of them.
I will have to take an online class I am guessing.
If anyone has suggestions for some good ones.....please let me know.

Hi there Rose...sorry it has taken me so long to get back over here...life has been so full, not leaving much time for blog-hopping! Is your leg feeling better yet...pain is so tiring!
Your collage is so pretty...did you get it figured out? I would just start sewing and gluing...never really knowing the *right* way...but that's just me.
Have a great evening!
Rene
