~ BLUE EGGS TOO ~ AND SUCH ~

( click on to enlarge )

Please tell me which version of this Still Life you like the best...
They all look very similar...but there are subtle differences.

I have since made the middle image a bit larger/closer than originally posted.

Thank you,
Rose

Hi Rose, They are all pretty but picture #1 gets my vote for he best. It has a nice balance. It is not too light, nor too heavy. It is just right! Hugs, Gerry

Love your blog, I guess I will be the odd ball here, I love the #2 picture, I always go for the less is more...it looks old and magical, I would like to see it a bit closer though like the other two. They are all great and would see why everyone is picking the ones they love most.

Beautiful site very inspiring,
perfectly imperfect...

Dear Rose,

I love version #2...I tend to look at everything and want to develope a story about it...whatever it is...

With #2 I feel drawn into that environment...compelled to define a love story...like a spring romance...the man is called away perhaps to war...the woman waits holding the key to his heart...the eggs signify the beginning of their love...the lace represents those fluttery emotions of first love...the couple awaits their reunion defined by hatching of the eggs and then the next stage of their love story begins...

Sorry so wordy but you know me....

Love ya

Sandy

Createology.....thank you for dropping by and voting... I had not visted your blog before, will have to drop by and see what you are up to.

Kim, I am always delighted when I catch your Victorian eye...thank you for your vote.
Secretly..( not anymore) I like No.1 myself. )

Sandy...you love any one of them you wish...and you know what else....you should be a writer too...yes indeed you should.
Love your darling love story to go along with my "nest"...I will be making another version of it soon, I had my husband paint some more of the "lacluster" colored eggs that came with this set..and I hope you will like them as well.

Rose,
I like the lighting and crispness in #1, and the content in # 2.
#2 could have a third element, but the items in number 1 are too much and distract from the beautiful and unique nest you have created!
(and you know how I love nests!). =)

How is that for specific?
(if I really have to chose only one, I would chose the second one).

hugs and blessings

Oh, thanks for visiting. I love it when you have come by. =)

And the match boxes: we have a wood stove we heat with, so we just buy the matches, dump them into a bowl, and I craft my little heart out!

I'm particularly drawn to #1. They are all very beautiful though, love your blog background too. Thanks for visiting my blog and your lovely comment. I don't live in Texas unfortunately, I live in Western Australia, which is quite a loooong way from Houston. I purchased all my roses at a Rose Specialist nursery here, they sell a lot of David Austin Roses. If you look up on the Internet, I'm sure you'll be able to find out whether you can purchase this sort of roses in your area.
