oh she's sweet to be sure! i wanted to pop in and say "merci" for touring my studio and for leaving such kind compliments. as for my bottles.....they look clean to you? must be the "lighting." LOL! Truthfully, i just soak them in a mix of hot, hot water and bleach over night. that's all. some come clean and others don't. i guess i put the cleanest ones to the "front" of the shelf. happy day to you rose! :)

I have a beautiful doll that looks a lot like this one. I bought her because she had a blue dress and a blue ribbon in her hair. I wanted her for what else, the blue bed room. I just love these old dolls.WHY?Richard at My Old Historic House

Lovely lovely Rose, this doll! She must have been an adornment on someone's bed at one time!

Thanks for the info about the bottles...I had not tried bleach before..and maybe a bit of white vinegar too ?
Richard, I knew you see her...yes I think it's perfectly OK for men to love dolls...they are a beautiful collectable for sure.
Ira, I am sure she was well taken care of even before I got her...she is a treaure.
