~ MORE NEAT BUTTONS~

Do any of you know about old buttons...? I bought these as OLD buttons, I hope the dealer did not deceive me...they are so very pretty tho. She said she got them in a collector's Estate Sale. Please let me know what you think about their age.

Thank you, Rose

They are fabulous! Love, love, love them all my friend. I have such a weakness for old buttons and if they are from the turn of the last century...well, I'm a gonner!

I am new to button collecting.
Am thinking of making some jewelry out of them, maybe a necklace or something. I have thought I might frame them too. Not sure yet.

Here's how I painted the lace cubby:

I laid the cabinet on it's back after painting the outside frame. The with a large sponge roller I just LIGHTLY went over the dividing pieces of wood...just barely touching/pressing as I rolled. The tiny bit that did get on the inside was easily sanded off once the piece was 'shabbied up'! :)

Hugs to you~

These are awesome Rose! Some of the old models can be found at the haberdasher's in my street (replica, of course!), but they don't hold such a precious collection as you do though!

Ira, I have seen replicas too...but you are right they do not seem to be as sturdy as these seem to be.
I did not pay an enormous price...but too much if they are replica's.
