~ CHATTY THERE TO GREET US~

She is there each morning to greet us....but most of the time, I don't pay much attention to her
as she is not directly in the sunlight... when I pass by...but today she was...and I could not resist saying "good morning" out loud...! ( I talk to my dolls on and off during the week at times....snicker )
I so love her, she was my oldest daughters
doll ( WELL.... one like her) and I have FOND memories of my children at that age. She was a birthday gift.

HOW many of you had a Chatty Cathy growing up ?

Hi Rose,

If I had one I don't remember...I bet my older sister had one though.

Thanks for coming over for a visit...and I always remember the fact that so many men "will not" live where there's much PINK around them. After 30 years working for Chevron Oil to include all the danger and fighting fires, etc..Thomas loves the color pink! Big manly man but loves pink! LOL I always tell people that it took me 30 years to find him! haha Yes, I'm lucky. :0)

Hugs,
Stephanie ♥

My husband loves our white shabby, victorian antiques...it's amazing really. He will point things out to me at times when we are antiquing...LOVE IT!
I personally, am more into Dusty Rose than pink...but it's close enough !!
We are both fortunate for sure.
How long have you been married....?? We celebrated our 43rd anniversary last summer.
How tall is your husband...he looks VERY tall.

Hi Rose,

Like I said, It took me 30 years to find him. :0) We had our 4th anniversary this past April. I'm only 5' tall and he is 6' 3" tall. I wish I could say we'd been married for 43 years. He's a gentle soul and I'm blessed to live the rest of my life with him. ♥

I'm glad your husband has that "rose pink" spirit! :0) It does put the fun into antiquing and junking, doesn't it!?

I do so remember Chatty Cathy as my Grandma kept one at her place so my daughter could play with her when we visited. Happy memories...

I still have my Chatty Cathy from almost 50 years ago.You have inspired me to get her out and find clothes and display her

Elizabeth...PLEASE DO get CHATTY out and even if her original dress is gone...you can find a darling outfit for her I'm sure.
I would LOVE to see her....please let me know when you find her and post her picture.
Ours was BLONDE..the one I have now is much more strawberry blonde.
Maybe, if I find a blonde one in good shape, I will own her too, if her price is right.
I just don't see them very often.
