I START OUT WITH THE IMAGE

When I want to totally relax and play in my photo programs... I start out with an image like this above....

Put it into PhotoShop....and you end up with something like these . FUN huh ? Each time I do this I am surprised by the design.

Photoshop is in my future...I’m afraid of it!

I actually have PhotoShop Elements...so it is a bit simpler...but it is not for the faint of heart for the initial learning curve..especially if you are past 60 and do not know the program at all.
You can take online classes...if you are thinking about getting PhotoShop...I would get ELEMENTS...it has so many nice features now and MUCH SIMPLIER to learn...AND CHEAPER.....I believe..it's ELEMENTS 9.0..It came out in July that is the newest one.

Hey Susan and Steph...thank you so much again for dropping by....I don't know where my day goes...well, that is not quite true...it is spent here on the computer....in my groups.
But we did have friends over to play cards today..and we also went out to lunch before that ..so that was FUN.

Hi Rose,

I can relate to the "where the time goes?" We have stayed busy this summer but knowing that Fall is just around the corner is hard to believe. Father Time really needs to slow down!

Glad you are enjoying some groups. My posts have been slim this summer with all the stuff we've been working on in the house. I suppose as Fall arrives I'll be back to my regular blogging schedule. I really do love it in blogland. I've met so many kind souls and I'd be sad to lose touch with them...and you are one of them. ♥

I have an old version of Photoshop and I'm gonna take the plunge and upgrade to CS5 and start concentrating on some tutorials...there are many free tuts floating around in addition to structured online classes. I also want Adobe Illustrator..I have such a large vintage collection of patterns, transfers and images that I would really benefit by learning these two programs. I'd like to offer some collage sheets for sale at some point plus all the stuff I'd like to share.

So glad you stopped by for a visit.

Happy Day,
Stephanie ♥
