I'm clueless about this photo......maybe...make your own road in the journey???!! Anyhoo, I wanted to stop by an thank you for following my blog! I'm now following you also!
Well ladies...thank you...you have all given good insight to this odd image. It is not mine..I have just borrowed it from a share group of mine. But it really did grab my interest.
WELCOME JACKIE..I am DELIGHTED you have chosen to join my blog. I will be over to see you again in a moment.
HI ROSE, THE PICTURE TO ME MEANS TO STAY ON THE RIGHTEOUS ROAD..THAT IT IS NARROW, LONELY, AND THE DEVIL WILL TRY TO PLACE THINGS IN FRONT OF US, TO TRIP US UP, TO TAKE OUR EYES OFF THE PRIZE, WHICH IS SPREADING GOD'S LOVE HERE AND OF COURSE ETERNAL LIFE....AND TO ALWAYS LOOK FORWARD AND NOT BACKWARDS...WHAT IS IN THE PAST IS IN THE PAST...LOT'S WIFE WAS INSTRUCTED TO NOT LOOK BACK AS THEY ESCAPED SODOM AND GOMORAH AND SHE TURNED INTO A PILLAR OF SALT...I THINK LOOKING BACK AT OUR PAST MISTAKES WHICH KEEP US FROM BEING SUCCESSFUL IN THE FUTURE. I DON'T KNOW....IT IS JUST WHAT IT SAID TO ME. I LIKE THE PICTURE VERY MUCH. HUGS SIMPLY DEBBIE
The *first* thing I thought of was environmental issues...but I dunno...may be deeper than that:) Your MD roses are just beautiful and sent with so much thought... Rene

Hi Rose Very interesting picture. I think Brambleberry Cottage sums up what I was thinking about the impact of development on nature, she is so insightful I didn't think about the one-way significance. Have a great day Janice
Janice, that is one of the first things I had noticed about the picture...ONLY ONE side of the highway. REALLY INTERESTING IMAGE. I wish I knew who the photographer was...very insightful.

I think perhaps the road of life is not smooth and often there are many weeds in your path. But keep trudging you will get there.
I think its just an artsy photo without any meaning to it...Just cleverness. I like it..

Wow! I can see so many different interpretations here!
The first one that occurred to me was how the road, which appears to be a one-way road, is gobbling up nature, so there's no turning back.
Interpretation: so-called progress takes its toll and can often be irreversible.
A very interesting image!
Thanks for visiting the cottage.
