I came around a corner and this guy stood there nearly FULL sized...he sure got

This is a picture of a Veteran of the Battle of Gettysburg. ~The picture was taken in 1913, at the Battlefield.~ It was the 50th Anniversary of the Battle. ~One has to wonder what he was writing.

~ A FATHER AND HIS TWO SONS~ 1912 ~

This is a Father, and his two sons.....kind of a rare thing having them all in uniform at the same time... I am guessing.
This picture was taken in about 1912... The man in the middle was an active duty police officer in Chicago.

Both his sons were serving in the Armed Forces as well.

My husband just planted these, they
will bloom all winter now..it's a delight
to have them greet us with their darling little
faces each day.

My good friend Diane was on vacation
