Debra...LOOKING FORWARD to snow...this early in the season is good.
I heard that because the acorns are so prevalent this year..it's going to be a HARSH winter...so hunker down.

WE have had probably a thousand (not joking) of them fall off our 2 tree's down here in Southeast Texas even.

Take in some WOOD.

MORE ACORNS THAN USUAL THIS FALL ??

What does it mean when there are a lot of acorns during fall?

A lot of acorns during Autumn means its going to be a LONG and COLD winter, as acorns are food for the squirrels and other animals! ... I can mean harsh winter.
The tree is sending out more seeds than normal to make sure it or it's seedlings survive.
