I guess he is officially a CHERUB...but it's made of tin..so it is bit different than the paper ones that we have been seeing.

Thanks, I liked him immediatley too.

THANK YOU DEBBIE...and thank you for your nice compliment on my old eyes and smile...that made my day for sure.
I am fortunate that my teeth (at the age of almost 72 )...are still white... so it's easy to smile.
My blue eyes are just a bit more faded I guess however. My hair is still mostly brown, but I would MUCH prefer grey or white hair, like my mother and grandmother had at this age. They both had pure white hair by my age.

Actually I just "stuck" those flowers in there to take the picture..I really need to place them a bit nicer the next time.
But I can't go wrong with sweet old dried Roses.

Rose, your angel cone is beautiful!! I have a cherub planter in my dining room window... I just love cherubs and angels! Thanks for all your kind comments about my fireplace. I bought the fireplace screen you asked about on eBay about 5 or 6 years ago. It was new at that time. I think I did a search for shabby fireplace screens or something along those lines and that's one of the ones that came up in my search. Who knows - they might still be available on eBay! Have a very Merry Christmas!!... Donna

Its is beautiful! I can see how she had to come home with you.

You asked about installing beadboard. My husband did it, and didn't seem to have a problem at all, but he is very handy. If you are only using it half way, then you need to put some kind of molding on the top to cover the raw edge.
