~~~BE STILL MY HEART...
I had not heard of Deepwood Estates, in Salem, Oregon before today.. I found this lovely place featured onVintage Trifles Blog~http://vintagetrifles.blogspot.com/ Had to share it with you. ~~
One of the most amazingly beautiful Victorian homes (on the outside at least ).. I have seen in along time. ~~
If you know of others of this stature..please post the link here for me to visit.
Marilyn, I KNOW isn't that the most MAGNIFIQUE looking MANOR you have seen in a good while ?~~
Oh how I would love live in it. ~~
OF COURSE, I would have to have "help" while living there...mabye 5 or 6 maids and a COOK.
Wow!!! That is beautiful!!! It reminds me of one that Hubby and I saw in Victoria B.C.
Victorians are my favorite homes, next to the Tudors...and then of course there's the Crafsmans.
Hi Rose, I have an award for you on my blog. Come over when you get a chance and claim it!!!
Oh my!!!!! Be still my heart...where are the vapors?! :0) Isn't she magnificent?! When we were looking at real estate last year I came across a restored beauty similar to this but not quite as big. It was in a small town outside of Nashville, TN. It was priced right but after the euphoria wore off I realized just how blasted expensive it would be to maintain and that ended that..LOL I wanted something that I didn't have to be a slave to.....now if I were a very rich woman..the story would have ended differently...hehe!!!
Thanks for sharing this....the architecture is just stunning from that period.
Hi Rose,
I'm sorry you're having trouble posting. Sometime blogger is funny. Oh, my blog requires approval before comments come up...I've heard of people having comments that weren't too nice and I don't want any of that ;-(.
