HAVE BEEN WANTING TO CHANGE THE SINK

I have been wanting to change the sink in our guest bathroom for ages, and found the perfect one.

Alas, it does not belong to me...OH SO wish it did.

Hi everyone, been a while again, hope Spring is treating you kindly.               Don't we oh so love dolls...especially old ones.   She is in such good condition...found her on one of my sites.   Don't own her, just admired her.  Wanted to share.

It's been FOREVER it seems since I have posted last....not becuase I don't care, but have been very busy being a Great~Grandmother and all.

This has been such a great year for us....with our new Great-Granddaughter turning 1 year old.   She is such a delight !!

DOWNTON ABBEY CEILING PAINTING

As a fan of Downton Abbey, I wanted to share a shot of one of the ceiling paintings in Highclere Castle.  ( Downton Abbey) 

We had an odd colored sky this evening. But beautiful.

Whenever I am in an Antique Shop...these are the type of things that sometimes makes my heart skip and beat. 

I'M BURSTING AT THE SEAMS..

So very proud to be an American...was born and raised here.     But now it quite simply, must be God's and we,  (the like minded)  to once again make the very necessary CHANGES back to our beautiful country that our Forefathers intended...not the other way around !

A MOST WONDERFUL DAY

Oh my gosh, today was one of the most delightful days of my life !      
 I held....our six month old great-granddaughter for one and half hours...in my arms while she slept...she started to awaken several times, and I rocked her and hummed to her and she fell back to sleep...Oh I was a happy camper. 
> She is a real "squirmy-butt" like her mother before her was.... to hold a grandchild for more than 1 minute at a time was a real treat back in the day.    Now I can give THIS generation another try.. LOVIN IT !!
> Wish I had my camera with us, so that someone could have taken a picture of it.
> Please just put up with me for a while, I should be "over" this excitement in about another 5 years or so.    :)

I JUST LOVE HIM

I know what love is because of HIM.

IN MEMORY

After a relatively short stay in Hospice, my eldest sibling…my sweet brother, and the first of the 5 of us siblings... has died.  I am conflicted between happiness for him, for going on to his “new life”...in Heaven...but am also heartbroken for those of us in our family... left behind. 

As a wonderful Christian he served his Lord with SINCERE devotion and love through the Baptist Ministry starting at 18 years old.....when he became the youngest Sunday School Superintendent in the history of our Church.  He went on to become a Minister and served in that capacity for over 50 years.   
  

He was a truly wonderful brother, I am proud to be his sister, I will miss our phone calls most of all, as we lived thousands of miles apart.  

He survived just long enough for all of the family and close friends to say their goodbyes…before he passed....so that was a true blessing to us….I miss him already !

FROZEN BUDS and BRANCHES

 We had our first Magnolia blossom come out...but this morning, we also had our first freezing rain for this winter ..and this was the result...this one was a bit more protected under the over-hang.
